Overcoming a 1.5-metre level change between house and garden presents a significant design challenge. Our solution strategically divides the height difference into three terraces, each creating a distinct yet connected social zone with a seamless flow between levels.
The upper balcony terrace captures uninterrupted sea views without the need for visual barriers, leading naturally to an informal garden lounge that frames views of both the house and landscaped garden. The lower main terrace provides generous space for entertaining and dining, positioned for direct access to both the house and garden.
“I found Outerspace on Houzz not long after buying our home in Weston, as the back garden needed a complete redo. It took a little while for our turn to come around, but it was well worth the wait. From start to finish, working with Terrey, Conrad, and the team has been excellent. They were professional throughout, and the attention to detail really showed in the quality of the work. We were so happy with the back garden that we had them do the front straight after. To say we’re pleased would be an understatement.” S Segal, Uphill, W-s-M, 2025
