Composite decking can reduce the need for such regular or stringent maintenance, without compromising the appearance of your deck.  It’s great for more shaded spaces or areas that are constantly wet due to the proximity of pools, hot tubs or ponds. It’s also a good option for second homes or rented properties where regular maintenance can be more difficult.

Some types can successfully claim to be maintenance free and will not discolour or fade with age. They are still warm under foot, stable and remain non slip even in wet conditions.
