This impressive piece of architectural salvage was sourced by the project client from Ebay, would you believe! However the only trouble with buying one off pieces like this is they don’t tend to come with any instructions and assembling the elements required a good measure of patience.
The fountain forms the centre piece for the installation and is surrounded by a ‘hoggin’ path and formal planting arcs defined with dwarf box hedging with block planting infill. There’s nothing contemporary about this project apart from the fountain pumps and mechanisms but it looks very much at home in this period setting. Construction by members of the current Outerspace team, design by others.
